The Inspiration – SARAH watch was created by Sarah Graham who overcame mental health issues thanks to her love of art.

Havaianas x MARKET Collaboration

Streetwear label Market has teamed up with Havaianas to drop some heat.

The two brands have developed the first thermo-reactive sandals using Haviana’s Top and Tradi Zori models.

Both silhouettes boast a surface that changes from black to red when exposed to heat.

Market founder Mike Cherman developed the idea for the thermo-reactive sandals when visiting the Havaianas headquarters and factories in Brazil.

Struck by how hot the sand could get on the beaches, Cherman conceptualized a heat-reactive design that would communicate the flip-flop’s temperature to the wearer.

With the help of Havaianas’s team, he then co-created the industry-first flip-flop.

The collaboration’s Top and Tradi Zori models flaunt thermo-reactive surfaces that switch colors when exposed to heat.

Whether the temperature change is due to hot sand or sweaty feet, the sandals signal the switch by transitioning from black to red.

Each flip-flop features Havaianas and Market co-branding on its footbed, with “Caution: Hot Sandal” text spelled out on the edge of the shoes.

With UK temperatures currently at an all time high this summer due to heatwaves, Havaianas have been a real saving grace and have been so useful when out on my adventures.

Havaianas are the market leader in flip flops and its clear to see why. They not only look great, they feel great and can be worn day and night!

Darn Tough Vermont Hiking Socks

Darn Tough Vermont Socks, which as the name suggests are made in the USA, but are unconditionally guaranteed for life. How can that be? Well their socks, for both men and women, are made with merino wool and a nylon blend.

The family owned company began 40 years ago in the Green Mountains of Vermont, USA.  Originally designed as hiking socks, they make a plethora of different styles and designs for lifestyle as well as waking. The socks are also made in a mill under the one roof and don’t answer to any shareholders. So with that ethos, what are the socks actually like?

If you look at their website, you’ll see there are loads of socks to choose from but they’re all made the same way – merino wool blended with nylon to make them durable. The sole of the socks are fluffier to provide cushioning when walking, whilst the top of the socks are thinner to allow your feet to breath. There are no seams either, so the socks don’t rub along your toes or against the inside seam of your shoes. 

The socks are incredibly well made, comfortable and lightweight to wear.  The many different designs, for men and women as well as children make them an excellent choice for sportswear, but their durability make them brilliant for children to wear too!
