The Goat Skincare Soap Bars Review

I am prone to eczema and find the change of season and the colder months tend to make my eczema flare up. My eczema is especially bad on my hands, so I tend to use bars of soap as I find they are much kinder to my skin. Bars of soap have made a massive come-back recently and I was really pleased to get the opportunity to try a couple of natural soap bars from The Goat Skincare

Goats milk products are great for people with eczema as the lactic acid combined with the natural fats and oils in the milk are a natural humectant, helping to keep your skin more hydrated which in turn can help prevent eczema flare ups.

I received 2 different bars, one with manuka honey and the other with oatmeal. Both bars lathered well, the soft bubbles were incredibly gentle and didn’t irritate the sensitive skin on my hands at all. The soap doesn’t make my skin feel dry or itchy and leaves it feeling clean and fresh. The bars have a gentle fragrance so are perfect for the whole family.

All The Goat Skincare products are free from sulphates, parabens and harsh chemicals and are not tested on animals.

I love these soaps and can’t wait to try some of their other products, I have my eye on the skincare lotion next!

The bars cost £3.79 and are available from Feel Unique

RINGANA Fresh Soap

I love soap and enjoy using it so was delighted to receive a hand-scooped, hand-cut, hand-stamped RINGANA FRESH soap bar.

The soap bar was a great size and looked stunning wrapped in the RINGANA hand towel.

I prefer to keep my skincare as natural as possible so the RINGANA FRESH soap ticked that box perfectly.

The purely organic recipe is packed with valuable oils such as almond oil, nigella oil, saponified coconut oil and saponified olive oil.

It produced a great amount of lather and left my skin feeling cleansed, soft and truly cared for.

I used the bar on my daughters skin as she reacts badly to chemical laden products and we were amazed how well her body related to the RINGANA FRESH soap.

The delicate scent was a real treat for my senses and the soap was a joy to use.

I will definitely be trying the other soaps in the RINGANA collection in the future.

Bio-D Soap Bar Review

Disclaimer – We received this item for the purpose of this review/feature but all words and opinions are our own.

We’re taking part in Plastic Free July so were very pleased to receive a selection of soap bars from Bio-D. The company secured its B Corp certification earlier this year and have just launched a brand new, 100% naturally derived soap bar range. The soap is made with over 65% organic content and is cruelty-free and vegan.

There are three different fragrances to choose from,

Lime & Aloe Vera

Plum & Mulberry

Mandarin

Each soap contains high levels of Vitamin E which is good for skin and is free from sulphates, including SLS, SLES and ALES, and MPG.

These soaps really do smell amazing, every time I walk into the bathroom, I am met with a zesty mandarin fragrance which is so lovely and fresh. The Plum and Mulberry is in the downstairs cloakroom delighting all my visitors and I have received lots of comments on how nice this soap is! I have been using the Lime and Aloe Vera bar in the kitchen and it effortlessly removes dirt and grime from my hands.

The soaps lather well and are a real treat for my hands leaving them moisturised and soft and I haven’t needed to use as much hand cream since I started using them. The bars of soap are also a great alternative to shower gel, leaving my body gently fragranced and are great for travelling.

Bio believe in the power of simplicity, the carboard packaging is simple but effective and there is no plastic packaging.

The bars cost a very reasonable £2.54 so why not reduce your use of plastic and make the switch to a bar of soap this Plastic Free July.
