With a recipe crafted by expert chefs, the Spicy Sausage and Red Pepper Pasty combines spicy 100% British sausage and smoked bacon with red peppers and onions in a rich smoky tomato sauce. Seasoned with a kick of fiery chilli and encased in flaky golden puff pastry this Halloween pasty is just what you need on a cold autumn day.
Made with high quality ingredients and locally sourced potatoes, it can be served hot or cold although we did prefer it hot as the pastry crisps up nicely when it is warm. It’s not too spicy and is the perfect treat to warm you up after trick or treating with the children.
