A trip to the Welsh coast during the hottest week of the year was the perfect opportunity for us to put Delph sun care products to the test. With a campsite right by the beach and long coastal and mountain walks planned, I knew we were going to need plenty of sun protection.
Suncream can be pricey, especially when you need to keep reapplying throughout the day, but Delph offers a fantastic budget friendly option that doesn’t compromise on quality. Over the course of the week, I used both the SPF30 and SPF50, applying in the morning and topping up during the day, especially on my neck and shoulders, which are prone to burning. I also reapplied after going in the sea. Despite hours of blazing sunshine (we definitely picked the right week!), my skin didn’t burn and is now looking healthy and golden.
After a day in the sun, good after sun cream is essential and the Delph After Sun Lotion (RRP £3.99) contains soothing Aloe Vera, moisturisers, and Vitamin E to help soothe and calm your skin after being in the sun. The rich, nourishing lotion helped cool and hydrate my skin, sinking in easily and leaving it feeling soft and refreshed. It is also helping my tan last a little longer with no sign of any peeling.
